1740 (Clydebank) Squadron

News today is that the new first class training programme begins on the 1st of June 2008.  Cadets Joining will now be called Junior Cadets and follow a part 1 and part 2 First class training syllabus before qualification is achieved.

 

Congratulations to Cadet Eileen Woods who achieved three silver medals in the recent wing athletics ( Her first time) and a joint best of class also.  Cadets woods will now go forward to represent the wing at the regional sports in the following categories -  Long Jump, Shot Putt and 150m

Cadet Corporal John Barclay achieved a Bronze in the 1500m at wing sports and will join Cadet Woods at the Regional sports

The Squadron Five-a-side Football team came third from the wing inter squadron football tournament recently.

Good Luck from the whole squadron and well done!!!!

  Opportunity Flight and Visit

Flt Lt Pollock has arranged for a visit and a flight on a Royal navy Sea king at HMS Gannet in Prestwick, on the 8th of May.
