SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
in the Air Training Corps

As well as the normal Air Cadet activities, we also hold a number of social activities. This helps create a good sense of morale amongst cadets by mingling in a different environment, as well as getting to know your fellow cadet mates better in a social atmosphere.

In the past, we have had evenings out doing such activities as Laser Quest, Go Karting, and Ten-Pin Bowling. We have also had day trips to  The air show at RAF Leuchars.

We normally have a couple of Parties each year too - sometimes in fancy dress! We also hold a number of events to raise money for the Squadron, and this has included Quiz Nights, a Bun night and fund-raising Dinners.

Each year our squadron holds a dinner & dance, known as a Mess Night. The Mess Night is where the annual awards for personal achievement are presented, either by the Commanding Officer or a VIP guest. After the dinner and awards there is a disco, and a good opportunity to let your hair down!
